Lyons man gets 15 year-old girl addicted to crack, trades her for sex to others for more drugs

The Wayne County Office of the Sheriff reported the arrests of multiple Lyons men following the investigations of Sex Trafficking that occurred in the Town of Lyons. The investigation stems from the initial arrest of Jarvis “Kitty” Streeter, age 32, of 14 Maple Street Lyons, for Rape in the 1st degree, Sex Abuse in the 1st degree, Course of Sexual Conduct – Child in the 1st degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Streeter has since been indicted by a Wayne County Grand Jury on additional charges of a count of Predatory Sex Assault against a Child, Rape in the 3rd degree, four counts of Sex Trafficking and four counts of Compelling Prostitution. Streeter remains in the Wayne County Jail on $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.

Streeter faces a maximum sentence of 25 years to life on the Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child charge and up to 25 years on the Prostitution and Sex Trafficking charges. Streeter is in Court next on 2/11/16 at 1pm.

Further arrests in connection to this investigation/indictment on Tuesday (12-22) were Shane M. Bohrer, age 24, of 26 Shuler Street in Lyons. Bohrer was charged with Criminal Sex Act in the 3rd degree, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance to a Child and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was arraigned in the Town of Lyons Court and committed to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $5000 cash/$10,000 bond for the sex charge and $1500/$3000 on the drug charges, where he remains at press time.

On Wednesday (12-23) the Wayne County Office of the Sheriff reported the arrest of Clifton “Peter” Hunt, age 48, of 73 Phelps Street in Lyons. Hunt was charged with Rape in the 3rd degree, Forcible Touching and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Hunt was arraigned in the Town of Lyons Court and committed to the Wayne County jail in lieu of $1500/$3000 on the drug charges and $10,000/$20,000 on the sex/child related charges bond. He was released after posting bail on Wednesday (12/23).

A third man, Eddie Murphy, age 33, of Lyons, is currently being held on unrelated charges in the Wayne County Jail. He was arrested on November 11th. Following an investigation of the sales of cocaine in the Lyons area. Murphy is accused of selling cocaine during an undercover investigation, back in April of 2015, in the Village of Lyons. He is currently incarcerated on No Bail for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Charges in the sex-trafficking case are pending against him.

“The girl is currently in counseling and making progress to deal with all she has been through,” said Healy.

The Wayne County Office of the Sheriff will continue to investigate and further arrests and charges are pending.
