Ever have one, or more, or those days?

t is Tuesday. I am not in a good mood. Perhaps it is all the meds, or perhaps it is all the assholes I am running into today.

First, people who shoplift are nothing short of common thieves. They are scum and every week I have to take reports on these scum. (See page D-3) Then, there are the employees who steal. Don’t they realize that once their record and mug appear here, the chances of getting another job, any job, are slim?

Next are the lower drudges, the domestic violence type. I just typed a report of a guy who not only violated a Court Order of Protection with his wife, but reportedly broke her nose and punctured her eardrum. The guy is scummy, scum. Yet, the guy smiles for his mug shot.

I am upset with the drug dealers and users who keep the lines of cocaine and heroin open, and make it so profitable for the hierarchy of drugs. I realize addiction is a curse, but those recreational/pre-addicted users are particularly high on my distaste scale.

The true idiots who drink and drive get a special award for being assholes. I especially like the type who refuse to give a breath test because the cowards want to possibly worm their way through the courts. You’ve got the courage to drink and drive, why not the courage to face justice?

The attorneys who advertise for slip and falls, accidents, and DWIs, who promise big rewards, all need to be sent to hell, along with some juries who reward greed.

I am upset with the number of illegal immigrants perpetrating crimes. Years ago, when I was also in store security, I rarely, if ever arrested a migrant/immigrant for any such crime. They took pride in their culture and were very grateful to be in the U.S. That feeling has long disappeared in many who migrate here, either for seasonal jobs, or permanently/legally.

Unfortunately, they seemed to have become Americanized. Every week I get reports of both legals and illegals (I guess I am not politically correct in any terminology) causing mayhem in their adopted land. It is about time the Feds take a serious look at updating the immigration laws. Those who have been here for generations should have a pathway to citizenship.

I am tired of liberalism and the idea that we have to support anyone, in any way, beyond a simple lending hand. Anyone on long term handouts, especially those convicted of committing crimes, should be thrown on the crap pile. Hmm, let’s see, sink, or swim.

I am tired of seeing crying mothers wondering why their kid got shot on a street corner at 11:30 at night…rarely see dad. What the hell is your kid doing on a street corner late at night?

I am tired of generations thinking entitlements are a right of life. We (taxpayers) should pay for college (???), and make every effort to pull these sponges up a ladder?

I am tired of all the rhetoric and media select media coverage/opinion on politicians and telling me, through bogus polls, how to think. Whatever happened to real news?

I now realize how and why our political scene is so mucked-up. People are tired of hearing from moving mouths that talk with forked tongues. They are not happy with the status quo and are letting both Democrats and Republicans know how they feel.

I am tired of trade deals that were meant to balance economies and help raise the boot straps and prevent mass migration across borders. That backfired and now jobs are abandoning the U.S.

I am also tired of huge meglo-corporations leaving the state and country for greener tax breaks elsewhere.

I am really tired of government thinking they can create jobs by spending millions to entice, with little to show except phony promises and numbers on a page. (Hear that, Cuomo?)

I am sick and tired of politicians securing their own butts with all types of money, benefits and promises and abandoning true election reform. Just how do Senators and Congressmen retire with millions in the bank? The time for term limits is NOW at all levels of elected government. So much for ethics reform in New York State.

I am upset that companies can get away with advertising 100% Parmesan Cheese when the ingredients include wood pulp (cellulose fibers).

Okay, okay, I have calmed down. Wait, no I haven’t. It is only Tuesday and I am still pissed.

It is now Wednesday. I am still agitated.

People with gun agendas rarely know what the current laws are. More laws, without enforcing what is on the books is plain stupid. NY has some of the toughest laws, yet…. Chicago has very tough gun control laws, but one of the highest murder and shooting averages. The underlying problem is not the gun, but the person pulling the trigger. This coming from a person who hates guns and would never own one.

I am upset with the U.S. Post Office that, on a consistent basis, loses my mail (The Times) and is very uncooperative (for the most part) in solving problems. The local (Wayne County) postal folks are not the problem.

I am tired of hearing about the government affixing a $15 per hour minimum wage. Let the market and free enterprise/demand set wages.

I am tired of some folks attitude towards police. Whatever happened to common courtesy and respect?

Pull your pants up, you idiot! Get off that damned cell phone while we are face-to-face, or texting while you’re walking down the street. Dress accordingly for job interviews and work…
