PHELPS, FORMERLY SODUS: Passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the age of 90. Harry was born October 20, 1925 in Lyons, NY. Harry was predeceased by his parents, Classon (Harry) and Anna (Holtz) Featherly, brothers; Carl and Robert, sisters; Julia Bliek, Margaret Krouse and Anne Henry. He is survived by his sister Thelma Havert of Painted Post and many nieces and nephews. Harry worked every day at the Geneva Day Treatment up until he was hospitalized. He loved his job and his many friends there. Harry loved to work in the garden. He spent many hours on the back porch watching the birds. He enjoyed watching the old western movies and the monster truck rallys. Harry was an enormous fan of the Buffalo Bills. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. At the request of the family there will be no calling hours. Graveside service and burial will be held on Monday, August 1 at 2pm at the Elmwood Cemetery in Lyons, NY.
