The Lyons Community Center (LCC) has announced the organization’s new brand, logo and tagline. The rebranding of the LCC reflects both the evolution of the organization as well as its vision for the future.
The LCC has over the years become a leader in health and wellness by incorporating programs and services that span from youth in-house soccer and basketball to adult karate, to offering Food Link and clothing drives.
Today the LCC has leveraged its facility space and programming to serve surrounding communities, extending its footprint beyond the county’s border. The Center is the go-to venue for larger events including vendor craft and health fairs, entertainment shows and offers the much needed space to house AAU youth basketball and pee-wee wrestling tournaments.
The LCC’s rebranding represents its successful and ongoing transition to an organization well beyond its original gathering location, where it was created in 1942 on Broad Street. Today the LCC focuses on providing the community with a safe and enjoyable atmosphere to inspire all walks of life to lead healthy, happy and hopeful lifestyles.
The new logo, an abstract outline of three people in a circle formation, symbolizes unity and togetherness as a group. The symbol features “LCC” as the focus, to reinforce the Center’s approach in regionalizing the organization. The new logo highlights its hometown roots by incorporating the original color maroon as well as introducing purple and gold, evoking the sense of a more inviting, enjoyable and approachable organization.
The LCC’s new tagline “Inspiring health, happiness and hope” represents the organization’s success of inspiring individuals to lead healthier lifestyles by use of the Center’s fitness facility and programs such as Silver Sneakers, yoga, karate, Zumba and pickle ball. It promotes living happier lifestyles by enjoying priceless moments whether that be attending birthday parties, roller skating and bounce house family fun nights or experiencing your children meeting Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny for their first time at the Center. The LCC inspires hope in those needing a healing experience simply by walking through its Trail of Hope, a series of whimsical gardens providing insight and encouragement to everyone.
“The new branding of the LCC truly reflects what the Center is all about. We not only have great programs for our community, we also provide opportunities for others to offer valuable services like blood drives and Food Link that makes all of us feel good!” said Keith Bridger, President of the LCC’s Board of Directors.
Cesar Ortiz, Executive Director added “The creation of the new logo illustrates unity between people. We are hopeful people from other communities’ feel more welcome and provide them with a sense of belonging. We are about everyone who utilizes the facility and all of our programs.”
